Note



1, when the target material is extremely hard. If copper EDM electrodes is not strong enough for a particular application, select tungsten carbide EDM electrodes.

2, when the hole need to be drilled is small (≤ 0.1mm), and it is hard target material, select tungsten carbide EDM electrodes, the non-hard target material select pure tungsten EDM electrodes, which is more cost-effective. Because the diameter of tungsten carbide EDM electrodes and pure tungsten EDM electrodes can be as small as 0.03mm, and the diameter of copper EDM electrodes can only be as small as 0.1mm.

3, when the target material is soft and the hole need to be drilled is not too small (> 0.1mm), it is not recommended to use tungsten carbide EDM electrodes. Because When copper EDM electrodes can achieve the same effect, the use of tungsten carbide EDM electrodes will increase the cost much.

4, when the blind hole is required to be drilled, and the hole does not leave any residue, select the EDM electrode Off-centered tube.
