♦ Application: Carbide burr, it is also called burr bit with many shapes for kinds of different applications. It belongs to a kind of rotary cutting tool mainly used in grinding all kinds of metal materials which hardness is lower than HRC65, like car body, steel, sheet metal, also used in mould processing, shapeing, deburring and crator cleaning ans so on.

Effect: Carbide burr actually use the effect of rotary cutting, not grinding, so it cuts faster, less noise, basically no dust, and the surface effect of the workpiece is smooth.

Advantage: There are many advantages of Doma carbide burr, here are some of the most important:

1,The materials of carbide burr: our main materials(carbide blanks, steel shank, soldering flake) are manufactured by ourselves, we can achieve better quality control than other manufacturers which these materials need to be purchased from outside, also we do a better production response speed and cost control.

2, The soldering of carbide burr: Doma carbide burrs use Sandwich type silver welding material and automatic welding machine with infrared temperature control, control well the welding stress, stability and uniformity, refuse carbide blanks serious oxidation and lower hardness of steel shank.

3, The tooth of carbide burr: all the equipments that we are using are third-generation five-axis automatic CNC grinders, we control well the precision of the cutting teeth, whole axial run-out, surface perfection and the consistency for each product.

Match equipment: Carbide burr is mainly driven by power tools or pneumatic tools (it can also be installed on high-speed machine tools), and the speed is generally within 6000-50000RPM.

Necessary protective equipment for work: eyes protector, mute earplugs, face mask, protective gloves.

The correct operation of carbide burr:

1, Before the operation, first, you need to choose the appropriate speed range according to the usage speed (please refer to the recommended starting speed condition). Low speed will affect the life of carbide burr and surface finish, meanwhile low speed will affect the chip removal, generate mechanical flutter and Lead to premature wear of the carbdie burr.

2, Choose suitable carbide burr shape, diameter and tooth shape for different machining.

3, Choose the matched electric grinder with stable performance, preferably brand products.

4, The exposed part of the shank out of the chuck shall be at most 10mm. (except lengthened handle, Because it has a different speed requirement.)

5, Keeping it idling before use to make sure the concentricity of the carbide burr is good, eccentricity and vibration can cause premature wear of carbide burr and damage the workpiece.

6, Do not use too much pressure, too much pressure will reduce the life of carbide burr and its use efficiency.

7, Before use, please check that the workpiece is fixed or not and the chuck of electric grinder is correct and tight or not.

8, Wear appropriate protective glasses when using.

9, Do not run a carbide burr in full of combustible gas conditions.

Improper method of operation:

1, The speed exceeds the maximum operating speed range.

2, The speed is too low.

3, Let carbide burr stuck in grooves and crevices when use.

4, Use too much pressure for carbide burr, lead to its working temperature is too high, this will cause the welding part of carbide burr to fall off.

 M cut - Standard cut for general applications

 X cut - Double cut for general purpose use. Improves control and reduces chips

 W cut - Fast Mill cut for rapid stock removal of softer non-ferrous materials including plastics

 F cut - Fine cut for improved finish on all ferrous metals

 C cut - Coarse cut for metal removal and finishing applications on non-ferrous

 D cut - Diamond cut for hardest materials and best finishes
